Call for papers
We welcome high-quality submissions that address theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practice-oriented questions intersecting medicine, humanistic inquiry, and media scholarship. Submissions may include original research articles, systematic or critical literature reviews, case studies, conceptual essays, research protocols, and thematic commentaries.
Scope and Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include — but are not limited to — the following areas:
Medical and Health Communication: public health communication strategies, health literacy, risk communication in digital environments.
Medical Humanities: narrative medicine, history of medicine, patient experience and storytelling, ethics and bioethics.
Media and Health Technologies: media representations of illness and care, digital platforms and health behavior, AI/technology in health communication.
Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Health Policy and Society: cultural, social, and policy analyses of health systems, health inequity, and media’s role in public discourse.
We are also open to establishing additional thematic sections as appropriate to support emerging and cross-cutting research domains. Contributions that advance interdisciplinary theory, employ innovative methods, or have clear implications for practice are particularly encouraged.

The Journal of Medicine, Humanity and Media(https://mhmjournal.net/) is an innovative interdisciplinary academic journal committed to advancing critical dialogue and scholarly exchange at the nexus of medicine, the humanities, and media studies. By bridging disciplinary boundaries, the journal seeks to catalyze novel insights into how medical knowledge, human experience, and media practices interact in today’s rapidly evolving global landscape. We are currently in the process of applying for recognition and indexing in major abstracting services and warmly invite contributions from researchers worldwide to join us on this exciting development path.
