LOCKSS/CLOCKSS Archival System

JMHM is a participant in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. We also participate in the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, a not-for-profit joint venture between the world's leading academic publishers and research libraries that provides a sustainable dark archive to ensure the long-term survival of Web-based scholarly publications.
