The 7th International Conference on Medicine, Humanity, and Media, convened by the School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University from July 7 to July 12, engaged with the theme "Health Communication for Enhanced Resilience." Amid ongoing global challenges, this conference attracted hundreds of professionals, scholars, and stakeholders in the field of health communication. It served as an essential platform for discussing critical health issues such as the repercussions of COVID-19, population aging, and the evolution of health communication strategies. Highlighting the event was a series of thematic lectures entitled "Health Communication Research: Theories and Methods." These lectures aimed to disseminate current theoretical and methodological advances in health communication, fostering international scholarly exchange and community building.
