The pandemic has exposed deep divisions and disparities in the global community, and at the same time warned the international community of the need for a future that prioritizes the health and safety of individuals and emphasizes adaptability, competence, efficiency, and inclusiveness. Drawing on two recent papers by Zhang Zhan, the talk will discuss how the international press collectively conceptualized the "future" of health communication during the New Crown epidemic (2020-2022), and examine the dominant frameworks used by mainstream media in different regions of the world to communicate with the international community, as well as the dynamics of these dominant frameworks in the past three years and in different regions. The author examines the dynamics of these dominant frameworks over a three-year period, as well as the significant differences between regions. On this basis, the authors will also focus on the choice, change and evolution of the frames used by Chinese media to communicate overseas during the epidemic from the perspective of cross-cultural comparative analysis. Emphasizing the regional variations in the research data, the authors call for a discursive construction of multilateral cooperation on the "future" of global health.
